The Tamil Nadu Police have successfully arrested a fraudster named Snehashish Mukherjee from Newtown, with the help of Newtown Police, after receiving information from secret sources.
According to police sources, the arrest was made on the basis of a complaint filed by a businessman in January 2022, where Snehashish Mukherjee, along with three others, took Rs 4 crore for supplying Covid-19 items. However, only 10 percent of the material was supplied, while the rest was not. Feeling cheated, the businessman lodged a complaint with the Tamil Nadu police.
Based on this complaint, the Tamil Nadu police found out that the main accused, Snehashish Mukherjee, was hiding in Newtown. A team of Tamil Nadu Police along with Newtown Police Station raided a flat located in CE Block of Newtown and arrested Snehashish Mukherjee. He will be produced in Barasat court today and taken to Tamil Nadu on transit remand. This successful operation marks a victory for the Tamil Nadu Police in their fight against fraudsters and illegal activities.

The accused will be produced in the Barasat court today and will be taken to Tamil Nadu on transit remand.
